Legal and Policies

What Equitorium Does and Does Not Do

  • We provide financial education, tools, and structure.

  • We do not provide legal, tax, investment, or mental health advice.

  • We do not hold your money or access your bank accounts.

  • You make your own decisions. Results depend on your actions.

Who Our Services Are For

  • Our services are for adults age 18 and older.

  • We may offer youth or teen services in the future. Those will require parent or guardian consent and will have their own rules.

Privacy Summary

  • What we collect. We collect information you give us, such as your name, email, and any forms you fill out. We collect session data, such as attendance, and basic website activity that helps us improve the site.

  • Why we collect it. We collect data to deliver what you purchased, to run our business, to improve services, to meet legal duties, and to communicate with you about your sessions.

  • Who sees it. Our team and trusted vendors see your data only to provide services. We do not sell your personal information.

  • How long we keep it. Business records are kept for seven years. See “Recordings and replays” for video timing.

  • Your choices. You can ask us to update or delete your information where the law allows. Some records must be kept for legal or business reasons.

  • How to contact us. Email [email protected] for privacy questions or requests.

Cookies Policy

  • What cookies are. Cookies are small files your browser saves so the site can work and improve.

  • What we use. We use Essential cookies and Analytics cookies. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

    • Essential. Needed to run the site, secure logins, forms, and basic functions.

    • Analytics. Help us understand what pages people use so we can make the site better.

  • Your control. You can accept Analytics or keep only Essential. You can change your choice any time using the “Cookie Settings” link in our footer. Analytics do not load until you turn them on.

Accessibility

  • Live captions are available in Zoom. Translated captions are available in Zoom for many languages.

  • Translated captions are automated and may be inaccurate.

  • If you need clarity, watch the replay, note the timestamp, and email us the time and your question. We will reply in your language using Google Translate. That translation may also have errors.

Sessions, Recordings, and Replays

  • Consent. By registering, you consent to recording. Zoom will also ask you to consent when you join. If you do not consent to recording, do not attend.

  • Cameras and mics. In workshops, cameras and mics are off by default. If you choose to speak or turn on video, that may appear in the replay.

  • Replays. All workshops and 1:1 sessions include a view-only replay for seven days from the workshop date. There are no downloads. Do not record, copy, or share the replay.

  • EAP and some in-person events. EAP and scheduled in-person workshops are live only. No recordings or replays.

  • Delivery. We send replay links by email after the session.

  • Deletion. Cloud recordings are deleted after seven days unless a contract or legal hold requires longer.

Materials and Intellectual Property

  • Worksheets, handouts, templates, and tools are for registered participants only.

  • You may not record, copy, repost, or share our materials or replays without written permission.

Conduct and Safety

  • Be respectful to facilitators and other participants.

  • We may remove anyone who is disruptive, harassing, or unsafe. No refund will be given in that case.

Scheduling, Rescheduling, No-Shows, and Refunds

  • Payment timing. Workshops and 1:1 financial education must be paid before scheduling or attending. Contract services such as EAP, Business Strategy, Grants, and Accounting follow the signed agreement.

  • Reschedule window. You may reschedule workshops and 1:1 up to two business days before the scheduled start time. Business days are Monday through Friday. United States federal holidays are not business days.

  • EAP and scheduled in-person workshops. These require seven calendar days notice to reschedule.

  • No-shows and non-consent. If you miss the live session or do not attend due to recording consent, you still receive the seven-day replay. This is not grounds for a refund.

  • Refunds. All sales are final after purchase.

Payments, Chargebacks, Returns, and Collections

  • Accepted payments for workshops and 1:1. Credit and debit cards via Stripe, ACH bank transfers via Stripe, and PayPal. No checks. No Zelle.

  • Chargebacks. If you dispute a payment, we suspend access to sessions, replays, and materials while the dispute is open. If the dispute is resolved in our favor, you agree to pay the processor’s dispute fee and a $25 administration fee before access is restored. We may require ACH or bank transfer only for future payments, or we may decline future service.

  • Returned payments. Returned payment fee is $40 total. This includes a $30 bank or processor fee and a $10 administration fee.

  • Late fees for contract services. For EAP, Business Strategy, Grants, and Accounting, late fees are $25 for every 30 days past due, with a 10-day grace period. There is no cap. We may refer past due accounts to collections after 90 days.

  • Contract controls for some services. EAP, Business Strategy, Grants, and Accounting are governed by your signed contract. If your contract covers payments, chargebacks, returns, or collections, that contract controls.

Communications Consent

  • By registering or becoming a client, you agree to receive service emails, reminders, and policy updates needed to deliver what you purchased.

  • You can opt out of marketing emails at any time. Service emails are required.
